The story of this picture is a very special.
I have been for three times to Peru with some visits to Nasca, Perhaps you recognize the famous lines in the pampa there. The cat on this shot is the cat of Maria Reiche. She was a German-born mathematician and archaeologist who is famous for her research in the Nazca lines in Peru. I met her and her sister Renate Reiche several times and I am very proud to have met her.
