Nasca Lines, Peru (6)

Another big bird in the Nasca desert. When have been there for the first time I was right overwhelmed as we flew across the lines.
On a later travel to Nasca I met Dr. Maria Reiche and her Sister Dr. Renate Maria in person. I had the great luck to be accompanied by Dr. Renate Reiche on a ride through the lines. That was something special, cause you are not allowed to walk just through the lines- they can be damaged yery easily just by stepping over them!
Due to my work I am not able to answer your posts at once- but be sure, every of your highly appreciated comments is read! I will always have a look to your pictures at aminus 3- even there might no be a post underneath!
