The "caretera panamericana" divides the Pampa of Nasca. There´s a sign on the highway that says that you not allowed to leave the road. In the upper left you can see that some stupid´s didn´t follow the sign and left the highway. Due to the nature (no rain for decades, no heavy winds) of this remarkable area their tire-marks are printed for the next hundreds of years or so on the ground.

Very nice shots of the Nasca Lines... This is one of the places, besides Machu Pichu, which I would like to visit one day! Thanks for sharing! And yes, there is always a not so intelligent person out there who doesn't think about the course of his/her actions...
